The CEO of World Pharmacy Council USA member NCPA, Doug Hoey, was interviewed on Fox News on April 7th, 2020.

His message was that local pharmacies are working around the clock to ensure patients receive the medications they need during the pandemic. He said pharmacies “act as a safety net for these communities” and spoke of the exploding numbers of home deliveries. 

Doug Hoey also stated that in the longer term we need to address the over-reliance on China as the source of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
